I have looked in the buzz book but no luck, as my Sister leaves tomorrow, and her ticket says 8.05am departure then when I did a search on the net from Ercan it says 5.05am so I need to ring them and quick

Hi Wattys,

Useful ilist buit can you check those numbers because the numbers that I have for CYXP who are the GSA (main agent) for Pegasus in North Cyprus do not all match the ones you have given for Magosa and they did have a Guzeyurt office too.

It might interest you that yesterday we had a phone call from Pegasus checking if we wanted to be givcen to clients as a UK agent - we have only been working with them since CYXP set up the Pegasus contract for Ercan to Stansted with them back in March 2007. Working with Turkey and North Cyprus is "different".

Are you able to put any pressure on Pegasus to think about flights from Manchester?

It would be great if that were to happen Dusterbruce. I'm sure lots of people would use them.

In my case the cheap fares that Pegasus offer are not much good when you add the cost in cash and time of getting to/from Stansted. Or is the airline like a lot of people who think that the UK doesnt exist north of Watford?

I have tried to get them to Birmingham, Manchester or both for two years no success so far - I would prefer Brum as I think it would benefit hundreds who trravel from all over the south west & Wales. Manchester is already well served with at least 5/6 flights a week to Turkey and TRNC

Manchester may be well served but all flights from there are all fully booked so really not very well served if you get my meaning ?

Manchester Turkey / TRNC

Price might also come into it? Winter time there are at least 5 flights and summer at least 1/2 more.

It is the volume of passengers from "up north" that swells it and reduces the number of available seats

And what about Glasgow???...KTHY flights were always full when they operated up here not like the half empty flights leaving from Heathrow. Why they pulled Glasgow and Belfast i will never know...maybe thats why they are now as good as bust!!

The flights from Stanstead are really excellent service with reasonable leg room and space in seating. Buy food on the plane or take your own. They leave prompt and when on stop over they turn round very quick. Booking ahead we enjoyed some excellent prices from them.

I confess we live in Essex so travel for us is not a problem, but overall a good airline offering value for money and generous luggage allowance to boot.
