We're visiting Kyrenia in July and have hired a villa 10 minutes walk from the harbour. There are 4 adults and 5 children ranging from 8 to 13 years old.

We would be grateful if you could give us the names and locations of good restaurants in the town that serve a mix of local cuisine as well as a child friendly menu.

What sort of prices are restaurants charging per person in Kyrenia for say a two course evening meal?

We've been to a few around the Harbour and they are not as expensive as you would expect it, but when you comapare it to Restaurants away from the Harbour they are a few TL more expensive, obviously because of the position.

Im not sure of exact names, but you cant miss all the restaurants in the harbour!

You are likely to get some good deals from the staff there to, they are very friendly!

From what i remember, harbour restaurant prices are approx;

Large Efes beer - 5TL (about £1.90)

Water and most soft drinks - 4TL (£1.50)

Hot food ranging from 6TL up to 25TL (£2.30 up to £8.50)

Desserts ranging from 4TL up to 12TL (£1.50 up to £4.50)

Thats adult meal prices, so im sure you can get it even cheaper if they have a kiddies menu!

So basically, its alot cheaper than in the UK!

Hope it helps

Michael
