Hi, I am looking for a reliable supplier and installer of plastic water tanks. I need one for the roof and another for the garden. My metal tanks are getting a bit noisy and sad looking. Whats the going rate at the moment? Telephone number and whether they speak english would be helpful. Thanks all

Last year I had a new plastic 2 ton tank piggy backed to one already there and a 1 ton sited on the roof with all pipe work, the price was 1050 lira. As for the supplier my paper work is in NC and I am in the UK for 3 more weeks.

Wherever you purchase it make sure it has a coated black interior as this stops the water deteriorating, apparently.

Our little Yapi in Esentepe sells them in three different sizes but I don't know which area you are in.

Yunus Zorlukasap in Ozankoy makes the plastic water tanks, speak to Steve in either the butchers shop or Liaisons restaurant both in Ozankoy for the contact details.

Hi Karen,

I also live in Esentepe, Richard (plumber) from the village will be doing the work and said that he got his tanks from a supplier in Lapta (TL650) but if I could find a better price he had no problem with it. There may be a better price to be had in the industrial estate in Nicosia, will take a ride down and see whats available. Thanks for your advice re the black interior, will pop up to Ozankoy and also check out Yunus.

As for loulou what size tank did you have, where was it fitted and what was its purpose?

here are the prices for plastic water tanks 700 ltr costs 250 lira ,1300 ltr costs 400 lira, 2100 ltr costs 520 lira, 5000 ltr costs 1150 lira, 8000 ltr costs 1500 lira, 10000 ltr costs 1900 lira, 20000 ltr costs 4500 lira .the water tanks have a 5 year warranty we also do all kinds of pipe work , boilers central heating these prices do not include fitting.prices for fitting are given depending where you want your water tank fitted. we do not charge a lot for fitting . we also do metal work in our factory , you are welcome to come and see us for more info please call me on 0533 8349878 . we will also be at the next exhibition at nicosia take care
