they will have some writing on which is the description of the house, like how many rooms ect and also the land/plot size.

they have a reference which is an ordinance survey ref, which shows your parcel number of your plot. these refs are the same both north and south.

i think then they have like a ink stamp on them just to make it official.

i will find ours later and come back to you soon.

is there anything you exactley you need to know?

Ok Pipie here goes with a brief description

On the front at the top is the exact location of the land which consists of district then village and then a set of figures which place the land exactly within the village, also its exact size in Donum, Evlek and square feet.

Under that in a large area, it will, if you have not obtained final planning permission, say either Arsa or Tarla which is a field or building plot. If you have final planning permission it will have an exact description of the house down to how many rooms/bathrooms and what the rooms are.

At the bottom of the Kochan is the important bit as it contains the name of the owner and on the back any subsequent owners and when it was registered. It will also have a round Tapu stamp on it with a signature through it

When you get final planning permission you hand in the Kochan with Tarla/Arsa on it and receive a new Kochan with the house details and your name on it.

The actual Kochan is A4 size

Hope this helps
