Hi, The number of units that you are allowed in each price band is a fixed amount PER DAY, so if the period between readings is longer or shorter than 'normal' then the number of units charged at each rate is greater or less than 'normal'. If you see what I mean! I think that it's 8 and a third units per day, so you would be allowed 250 units at each rate in a 30 day 'month', 258 for a 31 day period, etc. Keith.

John W Your pool usage seems very high? Either you have a very big pool (with a very hefty pump) or you are running the pump for too many hours. With a private pool (low usage bodies wise) & a 1 kw pump using one unit per hr. you should not need to run your pump more than 4 hrs a day. 30 day month x 4 units = 120 units per month. Your usage suggests 14 hrs per day running time?

Re message 5, blimey, you can't have any water problems then! I can only use the washing machine occasionally and am thinking of sending most of my washing to the laundry and as for a dishwasher - can't even think about having one of those.

I've stopped using water when it comes to washing clothes, have had no problems up to now, I've found it makes it easier to dry them as well. Might have to use more conditioner, mind. Lem

| Hi,weatender, msg 9. Yes we do have enough water.3 large tanks, under the ground, and out of sight.WOW.that was a good idea.!! and 2 tanks at the back of the pool for back wash...and that is used for the garden..another great idea.!! Mr Spider busy planting away.dishwasher on every other day,now the visitors have gone home.(sob.sob.) and the wash twice a week...and i have found a great place to take the ironing up in Lapta.(much too hot for that) so little old Spider just sits back all day,in the pool.to keep cool....Oh such a nice life.!!
