whats on tv and when....Nilesat is confusing

Hello,

Could anyone help me...I have recently had Nilesat installed for the year simply because I want to watch 'THE BILL' which I was told would be shown on Showseries. This is all well and good but how do I know when its on??? Does anybody know how to get a program listing for this. I am not usually this confused when it comes to watching tv and using a remote control.

Help before I go insane...................

sorry to say the bill is not on showseries, the only english sitcoms that are footballers wives, corrie, emerdale and couple of others

the only channel the bill is on is uktv but they have stopped it for a month but uktv is not on the showtime package it is on the add package but still on nilesat,

so whoever sold you the showtime pckage for the bill sold you it wrong!!!!!

also if you press i for info on your remote control you can see whats on now and next also if you press epg on your control it will show you a guide for the day

Thanks for that info..do you mean The Bill is stopped for a month or the Channel is stopped for a month. We have paid 380 sterling for our package and dont seem to have that channel. Have we been ripped off??

no probs, the bill which is on uktv was showing but the series has finnished and will be back around a month later or so, you wont have uktv on the show package it is on another package called art but its not worth getting this package because it only has a few english channels, the package you have got is very good and you havent been ripped off but you will have sacarfice the bill but you wont be disappointed

if you mean the sat box is called onesat then i have heard of it, i hope you did not pay to much for the system!!, do you know what satellite your dish is pointed at, once you have said i then can advise you on what channels you can recieve

If you are there is there a problem with signals at the moment. I have had no reception for two days now on the sat. Thought it may be to do with the bad winds recently.

there are no problems with nilesat of course over the last couple of days due to bad weather the signal has been low but is fine now!!!

because of the bad winds it might have knocked your dish and moved it a bit this is not common but if your installer did not properly secure it, it could be because of this

what box have you got if you tell i can go thru with you to see if it is the dish?

I have looked on the menu and its says that the quality is virually zero and the level is going from 0 - around 27

The box is an botech ca9500.

first what you do is unplug the box by the mains wait and then plug it back it back in, if this does not work then the sat cable goin in to the socket lnb in remove it and blow on it or clean it up a bit then reinsert it if this does not work, if you can access the dish then go to the lnb( the thing on the end of the dish) and make sure the cable in inserted in and not losse if it is then its defo the dish has moved in the wind and you must call out the bloke who put it in for you and tell him to make sure he secures it properley
