| I assume that electrical items from the UK work OK in NC? If so is it more cost effective to take all electrical goods (including white goods) from the UK rather than buy new in NC? Thanks Gordon |

| If you've already got them, yes but if not ,I wouldnt bother.If you gonna bring them over,make sure they at least look used,and yes they do work here |

| Small electricals are worth bringing, kettle, toaster, microwave, hairdryer, electric blankets...etc etc they are expensive here and not much choice! |

| Agree with msg 3. The xs charge of 8 quid a kilo can be very worthwhile, same too for bedding curtains etc. Put them in a vacuum bag and just about any fabrics etc fit into a suitcase. cheers guin |
