I gave my daughter bickipegs to bite on, don't know whether they still sell them. Pop into your local chemist, I'm sure they'll be able to advise you. Good luck

Try to find one of those teething rings that you keep in the fridge really cooling for their little gums. If realy distressed rub an ice cube over his / her gums and within seconds baby will be coooing again.

Poppy81 When my 2 daughter's (now 22 and 29) were teething as babies I took my grandmother's advice and gave them "Aston & Parsons" powders. They are a herbal remedy in powder form.....and they work! I always recommend them to people who have babies going through teething problems. Might be worth trying to source them in a herbal shop or a pharmacist.....you never know.

Puppylover, I didn't know you could still get those, I tried in Scotland a few years ago to get them for my grandson but was told at the chemist they were discontinued. Yes they were excellent I gave them to my boys when they were babies.

nurseawful I bought some in a chemist in London that did herbal medicines about 17 months ago They were for a guy at work who came in looking like death warmed up after a sleepless night when his baby was teething. He was amazed at the effects as was I when I used to use them......hope they haven't been discontinued.

Aston & parsons are still available in some chemists like everything else not everyone sells them. Try making some ice poles with babies own juice or water will need supervision (not that I need tell you that) May make a real mess but if it helps ease the little ones gums it'll be well worth it.
