Must of been covered especially since the price has risen - last year at crossing insured the car for 100 euros therefore horrified it has risen so much - Now done a month and hoping before it runs out to use a broker in the south praying it will be more competitive. Can anyone recommend one. In the past I know brokers this side have had links with the south but I am sure they put on their commission as well. Thanking you in anticipation for your help in this matter.

I think you were stitched up !! Should have been 25 euros for a month !!.

Sorry was not clear but it was for 12 months so well worth it, unfortunately now run out and now its over double and this is why i am asking for information about brokers in the south.

My insurance man, Halil Atakan, will do south insurance for you. His telephone number is 0533-8650198. He is a broker and will do all types of insurance - incredibly helpful, have used him for years.

Many thanks, i am most surprised out of all the members nobody seems to use brokers in the south - My insurance company advised me to do inquire as he has many people from the south who insure with him on a yearly basis where the insurance at the border is ideal for short term cover - Have you found it cheaper than using a booth at the crossing/border?
