Hi Did the whole shopping around for one last week. Girne to Guzelyurt Arcelik are pretty much the same price in all the shops. We plumped for a digital all singing hot and cold one from a little shop in Guzelyurt. 310TL

I bought one a couple of weeks ago from Elektrokur on the main roundabout in Kyrenia. It is a bog standard white one that just does hot and cold and is very quiet (unlike my previous one) - 180TL.

You need to go to Steptoe's Yard!!! Well thats what i call it! Its off the road down to the new Harbour, take the left turn onto the rough road just past Emertas (bathroom shop) in front of you will be 2 blocks of flats, its underneath the block on the right, you cant missit as there is loads of stuff outside...i was in there last week and they had the silver floor standing coolers for 175TL and 150TL for a white one, all are new.

that UCUCUZ place is brilliant!! Bought one of their 150YTL water coolers and it works brilliantly, its quiet and holds a lot of water in the cooler as well. Also bought Sandwich toaster, decent quality fans, deep fat fryer, microwave and toaster, all for under £100, great shop and excellent service.
