taking a flat screen tv over to the TRNC

hi, as anyone took over a flat screen tv? we are taking completion of our appartment at the end of this month and im thinking of taking a tv about 24" size, as anyone done this and is there any pitfalls like paying tax on it? we are flying into larncre in the south.

arrived aircan 36inch tv in suitecase, no problem put stickers on handel with care english and greek.

Packed ours in a vacuum bag between two pillows and the polystyrene corners from the box. Put it in a hard (samsonite type) suitcase. No probs.

Put mine in cardbord box with plenty of insulation and handle with care tape no problems at Ercan airport.

apart from paying duıty system should be 5.5 mhz otherwıse your system will have sound problem wıth local statıons (terestrıal)

We kept ours in the box it came in put it in the case, no problem.
