anyone know where i can get a reasonable priced garden linner as a base to gravel, about 200 sq metre.

required, delivery to Karsiyaka.i am informed that the black linner is not as good as the clear is this correct.

sucker,we have black liner under our gravel,and yes we can get the oxalis creeping up now and again but we just use weedkiller on the troublesome ones,apart from that it seems fine.Edge Plastic in Alsancak have this,Mustafa is english speaking and is very helpfull,not sure if he delivers you would have to find that out.

Coming from Karsiyaka go past Starling on your left,then one set of buildings [chemist,F & F] then the next set of buildings on your left you will see Edge Plastic,bigs rolls of allsorts outside.

The black membrane is more than adequate as long as it is installed properly.



Make sure that the garden is sprayed with a path weed killer before laying any membrane, using contact week killer usually sees there return. The trouble with the clear plastic membrane is that it does not let water drain away. Another tip is to ensure you use a good supplier of gravel, if there are a certain amount of fines and weed seeds in the gravel they will germinated and you will back to square one.
