| Hi All Coming next week with two teenagers, one almost 18 and the other almost 17 - what is the legal drinking age in bars, restaurants etc, they both enjoy the odd beer at home but i wondered wether they can have a drink in TRNC bars etc. Cheers Ian |

| As with smoking, there may be a legal age for drinking but I'm not sure many take too much notice of them. Enjoy your holiday. |

| If you are hiring a car most places in TRNC won't let anyone drive under the age of 23 years. |

| most car rental places are minimum age of 25 years old, i came here when i was 24 and no one would hire a car to me, even as a named driver with my mum renting. |

| hi Ian, take it you are still going to be staying in Lapta and if so the teenagers will get a drink no problem in JK's and there are quite a few young people in there most nights so will be company for them. Chris |
