Experienced Events and Catering Manager.Looking for contacts.

Hi i am looking to meet up and chat to people who maybe interested in opening a new business in the Girne area.

I will be in Cyprus on 21.07.2009. I am from the U.k. and have more than 20 years experience in catering and hospitality. I have also much knowledge of retail.

Ideally it would be great to meet like minded expats or residents with the view to discuss the prospects of starting up a business in Northern cyprus.

Take my advice and keep your money in your pocket! I looked into setting up some years ago and the red tape alone is a nightmare. And if you cannot speak the language and have no contacts - forget it.I have seen many restaurants ( some very good) come and go in the last two decades. Anyway the place is saturated with places to eat and drink.

Firehorse.

85000 visitors to the North of the island last year .. equate that in you budget.

Not all beaches have a facility and thats a potential.

Not seen too many mobiles either.

Potential for corporate, music and sports in support of advertised announcements.

Sandwich and potential healthy eating establishments.



The Firehorse restauant and pub with live entertainment, views and the craic ... and water slides for the kids ..



You never know..

Firehorse - I'll contact you directly. There are pitfalls here as in any emerging country but Opportunities too!!!!
