| Hi guys,
Was wondering if anyone knew any places that played bit of rock n roll like Oasis, Stone Roses, or even a bit of old school Madness, Jam, The Who.
Looking for a good atmosphere and friendly company

| Wasting your time ThomasB,even went as far as guzelyurt cause someone told me there was live rock music to find two guys with spanish guitars playing.It wasnt bad,dont get me wrong,but when you go out to a place for some rock music,you want it played by rock instruments,dont you? |

| There is the tunnel club in Girne.. good for rock bands and the Roadhouse in Famagusta, though they are more rock than indie.... |

| There is a bar by the harbour that shows rock video's/music has a stage . has all various rock/rock&roll paintings all over its walls, has a little door for an entrance then opens up into a large courtyard just before the castle , The lady working there is Dognay (I think that's how you spell it) and also her brother from the states, drinks are reasonably priced and the people were very friendly when we went last year, they will also play your cd's if you ask them. |

the bar is called Ego,fills up a bit later but a good atmosphere.Live music could be rock or pop depending on the night. |

| The owner is called tuba, and the other girl just works there. And as far as im aware that american guy aint her brother!! Still, its a nice bar and can have good music. Drinks are reasonably priced too. |
