As far as I know, Wayne just posted the link on here because he thought it would be useful - it IS aimed at Residents, not Tourists!

Someone may have subscribed you to their mailing list, the following is taken from the site: -

Don't like spam, much prefer ham off the bone! As HAPPY FEET was posting an email came through exactly the same as the link. Very strange. I don't want or ever asked for his garbage to be dumped onto my computer, plenty of open air tips for his rubbish in TRNC!

You prompted me to actually LOOK in my spam box (not something I do very often!) and sure enough, I'd had one as well.

I presume that HAPPY FEET had also received one, thought it was useful, and posted it on here - only to become the object of your wrath!

I don't think that it's really a question of moderators 'condoning' the use of members' email addresses - they are a resource that companies mine, like any other publically (publicly?) available information - If you don't want spam, keep your email address a closely guarded secret

Anyway, *I* thought that the site was quite *NICE* - so there... yah, boo, sucks!

Ours did not go into the junk mail box , but in our in box & we have no problem with that. Brinsley I would have thought you would have been happy to receive anything from anyone, you cannot get a lot of mail from friends, friends are people that like you.
