Does anyone have any experience with 'nethouse' and if so what were their experiences. Have been with extend - endless problems! Thought turkcell 3G was the answer to my problems (initially they we good) ,but now their service is awful (and getting worse by the day).

Baseline computers tried to upgrade me to the latest wireless satellite dish system which is very fast but more expensive than G3. Speak to them.

Been using Nethouse for ages and would not change them, but depends on what area you are in. I am in Karsiyaka.

There is a new wifi service in nicosia. The company is called Mars.

I have a wireless service, and downloaded ice age 3 at 550kB per second, it was amazing.



The service is only in Nicosia at the moment, but will be available in Kyrenia as well.

If you are located in Nicosia, they have a free trial as well.

I'm in Girne and have had Nethouse for about 2 years. Had the odd problem but nothing major and they're really quick to respond.

Also freeze account any time I return to UK

I've also used Nethouse for about 2 years. I find the service good, as far as speed goes, it's fine if you're useing it for domestic use, but if you're running a business or need to upload and download a lot, you may need a better package.

They even give you a call to tell you when your payment is due, which I find helpful. I'm still not used to not getting reminders through the post.

I switched to Nethouse from Extend 6 months ago, because of constant breaks with Extend, and not being able to contact anyone to rectify it. Nethouse has been far better, although I did upgrade to the 1024 speed, as it was only 50TL more for a six month period. I would definitely recommend them, they are also easily contacted.

they do have problems,

but not as bad as some of my neighbours have had with other providers.

Would consider them to be one of the better providers.

512/128 Kbps @ 80tl per month, not cheap!!!



Will stay with them for now,

don't waste your time - "Bortec" are the best by a long long way....



In 18 months of use you can count the times they have been off on one hand and no problems whatsoever....





You'd be mad to go anywhere else........

Hey guys....I know there's been problems with nethouse but this is generally due to maintenance of trying to upgrade speed and connection to cover more areas esp in Esentepe.

over the last three years i have been with four providers all unreliable changed to nethouse last year have had very few problems

was 50 ytl instalation plus 1 ytl per metre for cable

not sure if it is still the same

Yep that's right....50TL for activation/installation one off fee plus new customers have to pay 3months upfront subscription then onwards monthly payment is fine.

Yes the speed is ok. I thought that dealing with Nethouse would be easier.Wrong.Spent lots of numerous phone calls re wireless router and still unable to sort problem.

Even took it back to shop and they tested it ok but wanted me to pay 50ytl for bigger aerial.Why would I want to do that when it was working fine before.After one week STILL WAITING FOR CALL FROM TECHNICAL GUYS.



So my after sales service is rubbish.
