| For those of you that did not know, the Alsancak village festival is being held over 2 days and is located on the road near Dolmaci supermarket. Last night there were folk dancers, music from 2 groups, food and various other stalls. I don't know what the program is for tonight but It was a great atmosphere last night.

I did ask them to postpone it until you both were out next but you know what these people are like, always in a hurry to get things done.

No problem, your best bet for parking (as the road will be closed) is from Girne go past the Golden Lady and carry on until you reach the Starling supermarket on the right hand side. Either park in Starling and cross the main road and there is a turning by Pools R Us. Walk up the road and you will see it all going on. It kicks off about 2000hrs.

| Pity they can't get an English speaker to let us know through the Public Address system. We live in the village but knew nothing about what was going on, until it was too late. |
