Some good deals on 'all inclusive' packages, if that's your cup of tea.

High have a look at this tour named after our associates in Girne:

http://www.iah-holidays.co.uk/iah/Turkey_Holidays_Kaleidoscope_Tours.php - it can also be adapted to give you more time in Cirali if you want and the airport is Antalya

Try Turunc, two bays away from Marmaris, but about 1/2 hr by car.

Small village by the sea, nice bay, quite. Only two streets deep, great place, spent a week there last year, wasn't enough. Would go back anyday...

Quite agree with you, it is how NC used to be.

But it is a 2-3hrs transfer from airport and horrendous drive over the mountains though very beautiful as it comes down into Turunc.

I would go back again if it was a nearer transfer.

Cesme 1 hr from Izmir. Hotel Doga 2 star but clean and comfortable rooms lovely pool and just 10 minutes from the centre where there are lots of nice shops and you don't get pestered they are very friendly.

Akyaka 1 hr from Dalaman recommend Hotel Yucelen only about 4 hotels and this one is on the beach which is cleaned every morning, you are brough tea and biscuits or cake at 5pm, lovely River walks with about 6 fish restaurants where you can sit all day with a drink. Conservation area it is paradise.

Yalikavak 1 hr from Bodrum airport been there in June stayed at apartments Cimentepe very clean and comfortable lovely warm pool, about 1/2 hr walk into centre, beach okay but charged for using by the restaurants.

Keep way from Marmaris ok to go shopping but not to stay there, Bodrum & Gumbet lots of tourists and rip offs, pestered to go into shops and restaurants. Kusadasie all inclusives mostly so get lots of kids.

Had holidays in Turkey 35 times, so now know the bes t.

We flew into Dalaman and stayed in Villa Rhapsody in butterfly valley in a lovely village called Kayakoy just outside Fethiye, Absolute bliss, would definately recommend.

Try Adrasan (Cavus Koy) near Kemer, Antalya. A very relaxing, quiet place with a wonderful, long sandy beach. From Adrasan you can go on a boat trip to Olympos and also climb the mountain to see the eternal flame (Yanartas). For nightlife and noise, visit Kemer or if you want a more rustic town, try Kumluca.

ClairCat44 - Next time you want to do that trip come with us to Cirali the beach you are talking of. Did you not go to the fish restaurants in the same cove?

Go somewhere different !! fly to the new airport at Antakya and visit the gulf of Iskenderun and the area of Turkey that stretches down to the Syrian border wonderfull beaches and believe me prices are so reasonable dinner for two three courses 16ytl.

Wine and spirts are expensive but beer is the same as here lots of historical sites to visit as well . Try it you will be pleasently suprised.
