Hi we are coming out on the 29th of august for one week to sort out villa and my daughter in her 2o,s who loves to party is going to be very bored with her old parents. Are there any youngsters out there that she can tag along with some evenings so we can get some peace.

I am living in Karsiyaka aswell, there is a bar in Lapta, which is 5 minutes down the road by car, called JKs, and 99% of the customers in there are English, including young 18-24 year olds.

Yeh it has a big screen.. a pool table aswell, and they are very found football supporters, maybe youve seen their pictures around the walls haha.

Forget JK's.... You'll be lucky to find any youngsters there!!!

Tell her to hit the Liman (Harbour) - Cafe 34 is packed with youngsters in the summer.

Then if she wants to hit a club - Escape, Ice or Night Park are all good!!

yes shes no kid and can look after herself and she loves playing pool. but thanks perfectpete will try the harbour. This is first holiday in 10 years as she runs her own business and I want to make it special for her, also she was not happy t hat we had bought in cyprus so want to show her what a great place it is so she will come out again. I was only hopeing that she could go clubbing a couple of nights with some people of her own age she is 28 , so not a kid.

Would any self respecting girl go into a night club in a strange country on her own? shes not a hooker!!! I thing I have been misunderstood. I was thinking on the lines of single girls out there that she might tag along with a couple of evenings. just to have some fun. but perhaps you are right and I should not worry. There does seem a shortage of youngers out there.

She will find company of her own age in JK's and as you say it is really friendly. Mrcyprus himself goes there and his mates, who are a really friendly bunch they will take her under there wings.

Don't know where perfectpete gets the notion that no youngsters go there, I live nearby and know for a fact that they do.

thanks nurseawful. I went in there on my last trip and thought it was great, she is a very friendly girl I am sure she would be OK. I just dont want her to hate cyprus and not come again as I intend to spend every winter there.

Ignore some of the comments ginty, everyone knows it doesnt matter how old you get, parents are always concerned about their kids.



Dont consider Mon Amour, as all the clubs here are basically brothels.



Head to JKs to meet some young lads and lasses, and when you want to make a night of it, you can head into Girne.
