i'm sure the Jazz is smooth, but the drinks prices are a bit rough.....

The price of beer and wine has been dropped considerably. The MAXIMUM price for a beer is 8tl. Remember The Malpas is a 5-star hotel so the prices will be slightly higher than in the local bars.

its 10ytl for 33cl bottle of efes and 15ytl for bacardi and coke ,all with a smile of course ,nearly fainted when i got my bill for 4 days ,was wondering why the bar was empty , now i know , even the blues brothers never cracked a light , sat theyre all the time never even shared a coke between them

i , but i was to scared to take it , only had 500quid left after missus had bought all the stuff for house ,plus 15year old to amuse for another 2 weeks , need to get back to work asap lol.

what i meant, i was paying £3 for a bear in my local back home,so if i wanted to sit in the malpas, with a good jazz sound playing, i think it is not to bad.

Hi Claire,

Are you sure about that, my Sister is currently staying at the Hotel, and she has been told that there is no entertainment this weekend because of building work being carried out on the third floor, consequently we have booked into the Shayna Bar at Catalkoy to try their entertainment.

Even at 8 TL the price is too high - Pia Bella charges 5TL for a LARGE Effes......

You could pay 5TL at the Pia Bella if you want to sit in the middle of town. You could pay 5TL if you want to sit at a beach bar. However, for just 3TL more, you could enjoy your beer on the terrace of Malpas, enjoying the cool breeze, looking out at the sea listening to wonderful music. Message 17 - it was decided yesterday to start evening entertainment again on Fridays and Saturdays. In the very near future, there will be a Cyprus Night by the pool every Wednesday evening. Message 20 - I never drink and drive. I drink pineapple juice!

i agree with you that its nice to sit on the terrace up at malpas,wonderful views.



but i still rather sit on the terrace at shayna beach bar and be almost on the beach and feel that wonderful breeze,saturday night was a super night down the beach bar! and for 3TL less A Pint!

Please you all go there and spend some money. Theres the rumour going round that they did't pay their water bills so the beledye closed some pipes to make them pay. Unfortunately the lower catalkoy area is without main waters because of that. Sometimes bad to live in the lower areas.
