I have a villa purchased, finished but not delivered yet to me, I am insisting on the deed to accept the takeover.

My lawyer advises me to finally settle in the villa and fill up my own water by tankers... What should I do. I am also worried for the Orams case . When is the final decission due. I live in UK and Spain..... Which one should I give up?

Insist on mains water connection but you're in cloud cuckoo land about the deeds.

Belediye not ready for Kassıyaka water supply. Title deed awaits "final approval" but looks complicated since on the same land 2 more villas pending construction and division. I am told that you may get seperate deed even before final approval but the builder s agent says ıt is not possible at this stage.... How and where can I check it by phone or email?

Jay

You should care because until you have the deeds you don't actually own the property. The few builders who are refusing to hand over deeds and those that are taking out mortgages or refusing to clear their mortgages, are not only causing undue stress to purchasers who have handed over their hard earned cash but are also ruining the livelihoods of the honest builders and developers.

Is it that you don't care or have you simply stopped trying because you have no redress and feel helpless?

Msg. 4

Curka,

You cannot get a title deed for your villa until all others are finished, approved and parcellized but you can ask for "Share" title deeds to make sure that you own at leat part of the land though which part is not specified. You should withold some money back to leave some incentive for the builder to finish off the process completely.

and, more to the point

- who is your advocate

- Can you trust them?

- Do they keep you informed of what is happening?
