Can anybody advise the best bank to exchange sterling do they give as good a rate as the exchange booths? any advice would be appreciated

Currently HSBC ( NC )on line rate is 2.49..proberly 2.5 later today

I would go to the exchange booths. In fact my own bank here in TRNC recommended I do that as I would lose out by letting the bank exchange for me.

The best exchange place is opposite the Dome Hotel, depending on how much you are changing and if you are cheeky like me, i always ask for a better rate, he makes the call and i always get better than whats written on the board!
