the problem with cyprus is that everyone has to be divided by race then sub divided again, Hitler would feel at home in the ROC.

Brinsley So you would be quite happy to see all the TC's out of work with the borders shut. The south provides work and puts food on the table for a lot of TC familys. The problems with certain ex pats in the north they are only thinking of themselves and not the TC's which is very short sighted. If the island was reunified it would provide a lot of work for the north Turkey would not have to keep proping it up and being in the EU would benefit the whole island bring more jobs imports and exports would be simplyfied and maybe Turkey & the RoC could pool there resorces and explore for Gas & Oil together, but this will never happen whilst the expats spread there own malious rumors about the south. Expats in the north just think about all the young soldiers who have lost there lifes in Afganistan and how there family are feeling. You have never had it so good so enjoy what you have as these young men will never see ther familys again or have children or grand children. GET A LIFE

Msg 10 Work it out, 60% of legal working TC's are employed by the Government as civil servants so doesn't leave too many who make the daily trek to the South for employment and given the recent slump in the property market, very little building is going on anywhere! Richard

About time all the border crossings to the South were closed. Richard yeh great idea close the border isolate the tcs completely stop them getting Health Care stop them working in the south stop them obtaining Roc Passports. stop trnc tour operators using larnaca airport stop expats using larnaca airport. really sounds like a great idea richard ask some of your turkish friends what they think its a great idea. as mmmm has pointed out it was the tcs who instigated the opening of the borders
