I have a 2007 Citroen C3 bought from Citroen, Lefkosa brand new. It should have had its 40,000km service 6,500km ago but I don't want to go through all the hassle with Citroen and its rip-offs again. They are telling me I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THE CITROEN GARAGE FOR THE SERVICE (something to do with software?). Is this true or can I have someone else do the service? I do not want to end up with a huge bill for things which are replaced when there was no need. Are you able to do the service or do I have to take it to Citroen?

But your warranty will become invalid if you dont keep up your service with the main citreon dealer.that is the downside of not useing ur main agent for services!

Hi Wayne;

Although it's extremely difficult to diagnose a fault on a vehicle from a distance,it sounds to me as though you might have more than 1 problem or it might be the same problem offsetting both complaints.

When was the last time the vehicle was serviced?Was the transmission fluid checked over?How long have you had the same tyres on the vehicle?

There are umpteen questions to be asked,but maybe none of them are the right one/s.The vehicle must be tested out on a diagnostic to determine whether the fault is a)mechanical,b)electronic or c)otherwise.

Please think about a trip down the yard or if you are tied up otherwise,contact us to arrange pickup-door to door service.

Thanks for contacting us and look forward to hearing from you again.

Regards-Tony

Hi Stella,

As you are coming from Lapta. the best way is over the Lefkosa mountain road, then take the Farmagusta road as if you were going to Ercan airport. You will come to a large roundabout with a left hand turn signposted Girne, we are on the right, big orange showroom with a large tiger sign.

İf you have any problems finding us please ring either Tony 0533 861 0657 or Hugh 0533 845 1638.

Hi Allen;

Thank you very much for answering queries directed at ''Tıga''.I did not realise that you were in my employment..I don't think you did either!!!

If you have a business,please advertise under your own name..What you are doing is illegal,unscrupulous and an act of PIRACY!!!

Sorry to say this but it does come over that you are attempting to take trade away from a company that opened the thread advertising what they as a company offer.

Would it not be better to start your own thread advertising what you offer?

Hi Allen;

A few questions for you.

Do you have work permit?Do you have business premises and a business address?Are you paying local taxes?What sort of warranty do works carried out by yourself carry?We also sell cars with a 24 month warranty,do you?We wash and valet vehicles,do you?We do body repair & paintwork,do you do that also?

All our goods and services carry our warranty.We have 15 years of experience of the local market and have made huge investments to improve customer care.How long have you been here?

This is not a forum just to discuss matters and ask for advise.This is an arena where people come on to introduce themselves,openly and candidly..Please do the same and tell people what you are after and advertise your prices.

I have just received an email from you asking me to call you in regards to discussing a service for my car.

Are you not able to give your prices on the board so that members can see what you offer and also the prices you charge?

Also can you confirm that if I decide to get you to carry out the service on my car that the service will carry some sort of warranty and you will issue a legitimate invoice.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Allen;

I'll say no more..You have answered nothing..You have obviously decided to take the fifth amendment!!

You want to be careful what you say though,you never know who might be listening.

This is a small island mate!!Reputations are not so difficult to get..To get a good one though,you have to work damned hard ..

Stay self sufficient and you will be O.K

Best Regards

Tony
