| If you go through just with your Kimlik card on the greek side they want to know your parents Kimlik card numbers too. |

| So thats a definite NO then ..... he has a European Passport and has been to Germany in the 1990's but still he cant go to the Greek side ???? |

| It is not enough to have a trnc kimlik card if your parents are not Cypriots. For leaving it is ok for entering the South you need another passport. The only chance is if he got registered at the very first days of the border openings. |

| well my friend is from mainland turkey , both his parents are from mainland turkey , he lives here and couldnt cross for yrs , he married turkish cypriot women , eventually got his kimlik card , and now me and him cross regularly with no probs , so im talking from practice , ive done it , and my mum too is a full mainland turk with kimlic of trnc , and she crosses every week for shopping ,, !! |
