Does anyone know how to change an ink cartridge in an EPSOM STYLUS SX105 printer?? I can't make head nor tail of the instructions (a few peculiar pictures and no end of languages, but no Turkish or English). Should the printer be ON or OFF? (the picture doesn't make this clear). How do I get the 4 cartridges to stop in a position where I can reach them???? Either they're under the plastic on the left or they're under the plastic on the right. What do I have to do to make them stop in the middle for access?????? Any help would be really appreciated because it won't print anything until I have replaced the empty black cartridge!!

If you get stuck pop into Laconics, very nice fella in there, sure he can help you. He sorted our computer in no time and his prices are very good.

Leave the printer 'on'. Open the flap or cover and the cartridges should automatically move into view for replacing. Make sure you remember which cartridge goes where and which way up/round. I don't know that printer, that's all I can suggest. Rob

Let me explain what happens. The printer is ON. I open it up. The 4 cartridges very slowly move across from right to left until they disappear under the plastic on the left. Then they slowly move back towards the right again, practically stopping and I get all excited, and then they whizz under the plastic on the right!! Then like they're on something, they shoot across from right to left and immediately back left to right, hiding again under the plastic, and then it all goes quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not stupid but this printer is something else!!

claire... does your printer have a symbol on the left that looks like a spnner and screwdriver.? if so press thatand it should light up on the little view screen "ink levels".. then press ok. and it should show you the ink levels.Under that it probably says OK..Change cartridge..Press right arrow to move the light onto change carttridge. This lights up and then you press OK and the machine will move to the position for you to change the cartrige.Lift the top of your printer and you should see the little box that holds the cartridges.Flic the lid back and thenwith rightt fore finger under the front of the cartridge and right thumb on the rear gently pullout the cartridge.before you insert the new one give a couple of shakesremove the tag over the vent hole andgrip it the same way as did before and place it in the slot and press it firmly into position.put thelid back over and make sure that it clicks home, put your lid down press OK and it should work. I hope it does!!!!

Now CC44 make a note of how you did it on the computer and file it under Epson Idiot guide - we all need Idiot guides to our computers.
