| Hi, I have a friend coming over to visit and will be arriving at Larnaca airport, she doesn't want to rent a car from Larnaca, what is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Girne, apart from taxi is there a bus/coach?

| Hey Nat,
You take the Green bus ( 5 Euros ) from dark side airport to Solomos Square in Greek Lefkosia, walk over to the Sunny Side and take a dolmush to Girne ( 3 YTL ). I do this all of the time!

That is such a good idea until you look at the times the buses stop running....most flights in from Scotland don't land until after 5 so that would be a no no for me I'm afraid.

if your friend arrange a airport transfer from larnaca she will only pay 45stg to come girne without no hassel. ıt is not really easy to come girne by bus . she has to cross the border and find another bus which comes to girne.
