| There's an open air market in Lefkosia every Sunday. From Girne, over mountain, left at roundabout, first left and stop on left after 100 metres. Open market in Gazimaguza every Friday, same at Guzelyurt Saturdays. Car boot style markets at Lambousa, lapta on Saturdays, auction every other Sunday. There are also small markets on Fridays at Pegasus and Carpenters, Karaganlou, and Tolgas, far side of Lapta Saturdays. Auction at Amandas, Ozankoy every other Sunday. If you want to travel there's a market/car boot sale at Moon over the Water, Bogaz on Saturdays. If you go and theres no sale, have a meal, Sean is one of the best chefs on the Island and his wife, Sue will make you welcome. Drive a mile to the best harbour in the North, with some lovely eating places |
