reccomendation for a doctor to deal with neck and head pains

Please could someone help my friend. she has been bad with neck and head pains for the last 2 years which in times have been very severe. Last week she was unable to move, walk or sleep for 4 days as she was in so much pain. she had an xray at lefkosa hospital and was told her problem was that her spine in the back of her kneck was straight and she should have a curve. They suggested that she have an MRI scan. She went to a private clinic and got her results today and the doctor says - there is nothing wrong. Can anyone suggest an alternative doctor or possibly a chiropractor in Girne that I could take her to for a second opinion.

Yes, I had nearly the same problems. I can recommend Dr Can Cobanoglu in Lekosa.



He does a lot of alternative therapies and takes many further trainings.

no is not situated in a hospital.

You have to pass the main hospital and take the next turning right.



For further details you should ask the doctor - my english is not good enough to direct you through Lefkosa.



You need anyhow an appointment because he is very busy.

Try Kyrenia Medical Centre in Grine. First right past HSBC. They have good Orthopedic doctors, physio, CT scans etc their.

Kazbo,

If you can get a copy of the MRI scan take it to either another Dr at Lefkosa Hospital or Girne Hospital and get them to look at it and give you a second opinion before you even think of going down the route of chiropracters etc.

Any severe head and neck pain should be investigated after 48 hours.

Go to the hospital and make them listen to you.

I go to a super osteopath/physio chap in the south. His english is excellent, he trained in France and Belgium and he also practices accupuncture. If you want details, please just ask.
