| It was good to have UKTurk's update on Digiturk as we had already decided that we wanted Sky for next winter. We know we need a very large dish which we will get in NCyprus but presumably it would be easier to bring a Sky box and freeview card with us from the UK. Any info would be most helpful - we are not terribly "up" on all this new fangled technology!!! |

| hi daisy it is by far more easier and cheaper to bring out a sky box and card from the u.k than buying it in cyprus for silly money!!!! if you are not bothered in recieving bbc channels or itv channels you dont need a flying saucer in your back garden a min of a 1.8mt dish will surfice but remember with a freeview card all you will be able to recieve will be channel 4 & 5, sky 3, sky news, movies for men, true movies 1&2 and a whole load of pointless channels, if you do take a subscription for around £15 month you will get a whole load of channels and still not need a big dish i would say thou if you do bring out a sky box from the u.k the best boxes for abroad are defo the pace-panasonic boxes hope this helps ukturk |
