I think all age groups will definitely enjoy North Cyprus. It's a unique place! I recommend you to come during summer months to enjoy the sun and the beach. Make sure you rent a car and travel to Karpas peninsula. And.. ask your parents for the best stuff! :D Izzet

N Cyprus is a great place for anybody who loves sunshine and having a good time! Best bars - Kyrenia. Great places around the harbour, with cute and friendly waiters! Best clubs - catch the celeb DJ nights at beach clubs siuch as Escape Best bit of all - much cheaper than S Cyprus!! Enjoy!

Yeah, come and join the fun! Beach hotels on the north coast are great places if you love sun, sea and late night boogies, as sungoddess says. Or hire an apartment; many have pools and bars on site so it's kinda like a hotel, but with your own choice of food!! If you and yr partner like adventure, try paragliding from the mountains down to the coast - awesome! There's some cool pics at http://www.cyprus44.com/about/contributors/ozgur-gokasan.asp .

Why as a first post do you bring up a post from 2006 which has nothing to do with the Pia Bella? As a regular at the Hotel I know the outcome but no way would I tell you, was you there 2009 or 2010 I was there then no one talks about the subject so who told you must have been a gossiper.

If you like a beach hotel, with an excellent pool, mini health club, water sports, and excellent food, it has to be the Deniz Kizi Royal or Deniz Kizi hotel (just undergoing a total refurb). It is owned and run by Niazi of restaurant fame in Kyrenia. They also own The Lagoon, Kyrenia, Mirage in Nicosia and Niazi's in Nicosia.

RE msg 6, Woodspeckie: Well said! RE msg 7, Quarmby: (...) So what is so wrong in somebody asking what the outcome of a murder trial that took place? (...) ▶ Important on this board (from an old hand here): do NOT trust any first time poster, until he/she comes back - with more credible messages. In the past years dozens of first timers posted and they are still laughing about their wind up success. They NEVER came back after their first (silly) post. I pity the naive C44 members bothering to give serious answers to questions or malicious remarks. As in this thread re: msg 5. It's about time some here learn to understand how many people have made more than one entry/nickname to this forum. They sometimes ask a question to themselves and answer themsleves with a different nickname. They are the scourge of this board. Unfortunately.

Hans - yes, I agree. But, credit where credit is due, it isn't everyone who can have a three-way conversation with oneself and still keep track of what has been said. It takes a certain amount of "skill", wouldn't you say J

hi you will love north cyprus, but to be honest with you there isnt that much for the younger ppl here, as my sister aged 22 came just a couple of times and she had the choice to live here at the time and said there is nothing for her to do here. if your looking for a good hotel that is local.. try the LAPETHOS RESORT HOTEL in lapta. very beautiful and has its own each also.
