I currently have a Laptop but dont know the settings for defragging on vista any advice?

yes go to all programs,look for accessories,in there is system tools and you will find in in there

right click on windows icon bottom right corner of screen

click on explore

on left hand side - see computer - left click

see drives available on the right hand side

typically OS(C)

right click on the drive to defrag

see properties (last option)

now choose tools

see option for defrag / check and so on
