We have our wills and passports and I believe around 35YTL per will - what else do we need and do we need to make an appointment with the court or just turn up?

We made wills ( few years ago) that are held by or TRNC advocate. Don't recall being told anything about getting them registered. Is this a requirement ? What happpens if they are not registered ?

Yes you need 38tl in stamps per Will which need to be 1 x 30tl 2 x 3tl and 1 x 2tl. We turned up at 10am and were told to come back at 11. We also took 2 witnesses with us who had to sign the Wills in front of the clerk. They also only accept Wills on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Cooper

Just thought - what sort of stamps are these and do you purchase them from the court?

TRNC postage stamps buy them from the main Post Office next door to the Court, or any other TRNC Post Office Incidentally, for anyone doing Residency - if you forget to buy your stamps before you go to the office in Lefkoşa, the canteen / cafe on the ground floor sells them...
