Hi guys,

I am looking to be of use in the community, as much as I love the sun and being a lady of leisure, I would like to contribute something to the community I have chosen to be part of.

Has anybody got contact numbers of any projects in the alsancak area that are looking for volunteers.

Hi all,

I am still looking to make myself useful during the day.

I have already found a couple days a month, but would like more.

If anybody else has any contact details of organisations that need voluntary help, please let me know

Thanks

Jake - email Flowerfairy or Teresa off board they could direct you wisely and well. Or talk to BRS or the other organisations behind Girne Post Office. There are a lot of older organisations too who might want help or assistance like the British Cemetry Committee.

I can't remember the title of the thread, but there was the family who recently had a little one with Down's - can't recall their area either, but maybe you could give mum an hour or so break here and there? Us mum's know how exhausting little people can be at the best of times, but I gather this family were struggling in any event, so feel sure mum/dad/siblings would welcome any kindness, as the thread explained.......
