yeah I think von Marwijk would be better playing his B team, save the A team for a game they have a chance of winning. Holland aren't the farce they once were on the World stage.

RE msg 4, minertor: (...) yeah I think von Marwijk would be better playing his B team, save the A team for a game they have a chance of winning. Holland aren't the farce they once were on the World stage. (...) => Don't worry, I understand your frustration. Any idea how many Dutchmen played in your Premier League in the past five years? How many goals they scored for your sad ***English*** teams? Are there any clubs left where the president, the manager and the team can speak English..?! English teams: vanished glory. P.S. Its's Bert van Marwijk or Van Marwijk. *Von* Marwijk is German.

Steve (wally with a brolly) McClaren anyone? Vanished glory; remind us all, when was the last time a Dutch club side won a European trophy? Apart from Guus Hiddink and Ruud Gullit how many Dutch managers have carried off the Premier league or FA Cup? Why are Real Madrid trying to shed their Dutch contingent? Why are Eriedivisie games so poorly attended? Why did the stupid boy stick his finger in the dyke? Why am I even bothering with this thread?

Ban twenty two faggots running around a pitch searching for a round ball on £100,000 a week and when they score want to hug & kiss each other! Very suspicious behaviour to me! Richard

Brins; As opposed to 30 running around a pitch gouging eyes, spear tackling, (All Black speciality) faking blood injuries, all while chasing after a ball that isn't even spherical. Great game last night but when are the tri-nations backs going to run the ball?

Obviously the 'Dream Team' would include Garry Mongers Missus in Goal. Nothing would get past her!

Brinsley and DC aka the terrible twins seem lost for words (I know it's hard to believe) on this one topic. So for that reason back to the top.

Newscoop, they'll be back if Holland win. The danger for England is that they are unlikely to take the match seriously. More a practice game to try a few new things out.

BBC today, no Gerrard, Walcott or Heskey. "Capello said he would use all six subs in order to protect his players for the match in Amsterdam" Doesn't the man know what it means to us if England lose tonight. Glad I've got dual nationality

minertor; I've got dual nationality as well but that is not going to help us if the cloghoppers beat our reserves.

Not so long ago Holland has beaten England in a cricket match..! So what can the problem be with football..? (I may take a short sabbatical leave from this board when things go wrong in Amsterdam...).

Good game, pity the Dutch couldn't build on the two goals they were presented with. To be fair they probably decided to be magnanimous and let England dominate the second half in memory of Bobby Robson. My questions are (a) Why no black armbands, is it a Dutch thing? (b) Why was the atmosphere so flat? (c) Why hasn't DC responded to my earlier questions re Dutch football? (Nederlands voetbal)

cyprusair, msg 22 "it's only a game" wash your mouth out. Newscoop, more likely to be that England gave them 2 start "in memory of Bobby Robson" and has the man said "look, no Hans"

Schoolboy errors in defence which gave away the two goals, hope they improve on that by SA. Two good goals by Defoe though to make up for the mistakes. Personally I thought Beckham played well, still got some good touches.
