Has anyone tried using a solar reflective exterior paint, supposed to reduce internal room temps by 10-12 degrees?

Not tried special paint but we painted the flat roof of our house white & it's made the inside quite a lot cooler.

10 - 12 degrees celsius? just with paint not possible! no tests, no certificates = no go! How should paint keep the heat inside in winter? by reflection? 10 - 12 degrees.. sorry. if it was like this, every government would force homeowners to use this paint. It would save the worlds energy consumption by one third from the day its beeing used.... BTW: silver paint for the roofes makes sense as it reflects much better than red tiles or black tar or grey concrete.. white paint is also beter than grey, red and black.. Good luck, Regards, Henrik
