i would like to ask why people who take their dogs for a walk let their dogs shit on people's door step and don't bother to pick the dump up or in orchards especially in the lapta area . i'm not saying everyone dose it but a lot of people ignore what their dog dose . then people complain that dogs are poisoned i am dog owner my self but i am fed up with the shit i have to pick up every morning . i have found a solution now if i catch the dog doing it i just let my guard dogs out ( pitbulls 2 of them )and problem is solved . i am just asking people to make sure they clean up their dogs mess because alot of the people are fed up with it and they will be tacking action against these dogs or owners

I agree 100% I have a waste plot of land opposite my apt, which we use to walk through to get to our local shop, but I watch as dog owners let their dogs shite and then they just walk on, dont they realise that dogs poo can cause blindness if a child drops a toy for example and gets excrement on their hands god only knows what can happen. Take a poo bag out if your dog lovers you will know that,

its just a handful of owners who do this, but it spoil it for the rest of us

hi sheila it's just that some people have no brains at all for example i went to my orchards this morning and there was shite every where now i have warned these people before but they still let dogs out to run i felt like just chucking all the shite they made in their garden to see if they would like it god help them next time because i have a nice surprise for them

Have to agree...it used to be the same on the long beach at Karsiyaka guzyali or summat.... used to walk my dogs there every morning,.. with a couple of carrier bags to clean up... but there was always loads of dog shite left by irriponsible owners...you to annoy me...a lot!

good point shazam but when i saw my little one pick the shite off the ground and almost put it in her mouth that's when i said enough is enough . no matter what we say it will never end i wonder if they fined the dog owners for the crap they do would it stop. should put a sign up keep north cyprus tidy ))))

A few stratigically placed mouse traps soon persuaded them to go somewhere else!

Whilst i fully agree with Berkeh, I think that dog s**t is the least of NCs' litter problems. NC is knee deep in plastic bags, bottles and all manner of crap thrown out by locals. At least dog s**t will eventually compost !!!!

There is a woman who walks about five dogs on my daughters estate, she doesn't live the there, but obviously chooses to let her dogs roam, and poo, she certainly doesn't carry a poo scoop.

I think dogs should poo in their own garden, then the owners can deal with it.

I often wonder if it;'s her dogs that are barking all night long.

I have three dogs and I keep them in most of the time. I'm sick and tired of picking up doggy poo-poo in my garden! I give these dogs quizzical looks but they just keep on doing it! I've been told that a solution would be to just stop feeding them. Luckily I have an orchard next to me where I can sling the offending articles

Just like to say on here that anyone that does not clean up after his or her dog if I saw you let your dog chit on my property.

1 No I would not blame the dog as like everything else it needs to have a chit

2 I would politely ask the owner to please make sure that it doesn't happen again

3 If it did happen again then I would pick the offending turd up myself.

4 the animals owner would then have a good old facial of dog chit.

If someone is letteing there animals do their business on or near your property then its no use whinging on here you have to confront the animals owner as it is they who are at fault not the dog as he is only going were his master has taken him/her.
