I know I will probably get some stick on here about this

But my two granddaughters love West Ham as their Daddy does

But I have shopped around tried Tina at the Wednesday Market/Lambousa also

but no one does West Ham any suggestions, please "nice ones"

Surely there must some supporters out here in the TRNC

Sheila, I would go to our local market & get you two towels, but Paul has put his foot down & told me there is no way he will allow West Ham towels in our case. He is worried that we may get stopped at customs & the embarrassment would be too much.

Hi J dont worry you are doing enough, and I can understand the embarrassment it would cause to Paul,

I know people who might be going over to Turkey will ask them, if they dont mind being embarrassed also )

Hi Sheila - joking aside, I would say Turkey would definitely be your best bet.

Good luck (you, that is, not West Ham )

Hi Shiela,

Just been on to my brother (Big West Ham fan) he is sure they sell them at Pitsea Market in Essex. He will have a look next weekend but reckons they will probably be no more than £10.00 each (obviously not official merchandise), though there is an official West Ham shop that we know of in Baslidon but probably more expensive. I will let you know what the score is, if you don't get a better offer before hand, we will be going down that way in the next few weeks and could collect if required.

Regards

Thankyou so much Irene

I will go on line and see how much they are, and where the best place to get them,

I used to go to Pitsea Market is was great there, I'm sure which ever market you go to they will be the same, and as you say the West Ham shop will be more expensive and not much difference.

thanks again, you got my message dont bring the Catalogue over its far too heavy and I can look on line.

See you soon.

Irene looked on line at their web site,

and theirs are for a Velour type towel £13 not sure if velour dries well when you come out of the pool, but it gives you an idea of the price.

They had some amazing knick knacks though, ideas for christmas. great stuff

Why dont we get deliveries over here in the TNC

From what I've seen of the shops in Larnaca you are likely to find things like that over there I would think.Plenty of choices for the British tourists. Also you can easily order one on ebay.co.uk .Type in West Ham towel then on the left hand side of the page under locations click 'worldwide'.These sellers will probably sent it to you in the North then.Make sure you put Mersin 10 Turkiye on the address though.

Good luck!

Plus if your grand daughters don't live in Cyprus you could direct the seller to send it straight to their address instead.

They have club towels in the covered market in Lefkosa but not sure if they have West Ham. Could be worth a try.

Hi All

Many thanks for all your advice, I am going to order from the West ham shop on line and have it sent to a friend who will bring them over for me now.

I cant have them sent direct to my granddaughters as they live in Thailand and no web sites deliver there, that would be an easy option if only.

Once again many thanks, what a great bunch of people on this forum always ready to help someone.

Hi Mary

Thank you so much I would love to put their little names in a corner of the towels,

A neighbour is bringing them over for me in September.

Could I please get in touch with you and then maybe bring them to you, so you can embroider their names on.

Can you also give me your e mail or phone number so when I receive them I can contact you.

Many thanks again.

Sheila

Hi Liz glad this one is sorted out, ring you later.

Of course he's an arse, he supports Crystal Palace.

But they were dead unlucky that Freddie Sear's goal [a loan signing from West Ham] was disallowed. The ref should have gone to Specsavers.
