Woody - No one can give you a correct answer until we know which country you want to export cash from.

Woody, All over europe : € 10 000,00, otherwise you had to declare it.

Check with the authorities in the TRNC I believe that it is USD 10,000 max that you can take out of North Cyprus (per person per journey). From the UK and I bleive EU wide the limit is 10,000 Euros (per person per journey). If you are looking at taking out larger sums then it might be wise to do it through bank transfers. You might need to have proof of how you came by the money as most of these restrictions are related to money laundering. With regard to these limits I am not clear if that will be per adult only or if age is not relevant.

The figure of 10000 euros is what you can take out of the EEC without declaring it.. So you can take whatever you want from UK to ROC or from ROC to UK. without declaring it. Or any other eec to eec journey. You must declare any more than 10000 euros when leaving the EEC on a form supposedly available at all points of leaving EEC. Elsewhere on 44 is the HMRC form link posted by me last year.
