Dear Andrew, I have just seen your post. As I have one mobile, and only one provider (Turkcell) - as do most people, I do not feel qualified to comment on the question that you asked, i.e. "which network is better". My own Turkcell sim appears to work fine to me, I have no idea about other people's, and have no idea about Telsim. Regarding 3G, there have been many posts on the service level that you can expect - rather than ask a question which has been answered many times before, you mght like to use the search engine below the header tabs on each page to find previous discussions - it is often overlooked, but is a very powerful feature. Or - go to the bottom of the page, and click on one of the subject keywords, such as 'telephone', or 'internet' - you will then find all previous discussions grouped by subject. If you still cannot find the info that you require, then repeat your request - members may be more inclined to respond if you show that you have made some effort

I have experience with both and find Turkcell better the majority of the time but then location does make the difference, for example in Malatya Telsim works better for me then Turkcell. On the whole i use Turkcell as i feel its "cold spots" (when i cant get a signal) are less than the trouble i can have with Telsim Sorry no idea about 3G

I had Telsim and moved over to Turkcell and feel it is better for me however this is for the phone only and not 3G, I cannot comment on the differences there.

Tried Telsim when I first moved here, but changed to Turkcell and found it a lot better.

Telsim is owned by Vodafone who has invested alot in 3G. It may be the one for the future.

Tried Turkcell but they didn't provide a good service so we now have Telsim and are more than happy with the way our PC runs. I think a lot depends on whcih area you're in though.

We have Turkcell. In Bahceli we only get a 2G signal but in the car when we get to around the Turtle Bay area we get a 3G signal. Waht does everybody else get in their area?
