Thanks for all your help so far with my Skyline swap If any of you have time please check http://www.medviewhomes.com look at the property locations I would like bars and resturants within walking distance of the property I would like a sense of commuinity and a bit of a buzz when in town - not a ghost town I am 34 from N Ireland with small family and mid sized extended family - things to do other than sunbath every day would be good. Shopping, markets, water sports, fun beaches etc If all their areas are quiet then an area that has most surrounding growth development it seems like there is a good Ex-pat group already in NC - please help, decision time looming I HAVE TO SWAP WITH NEW MEDVIEW PROPERTY - SORRY TO OTHER PROPERTY SELLERS Thanks to you all

If you are looking for an already established community with bars and restaurants then either Lapta or Catalkoy would probably be your best option.

I think Tyrone needs to swop to a Medview Homes site that have unsold properties left on site. I don't know of any in the Lapta area. Esentepe have 2 - 3 but although it has a couple of bars within walking distance, he would need a car to get to the village for more and to Kyrenia for even more nightlife. On the site at Esentepe there are plenty of owners with young families and they seem to find plenty to do. There is the new aqua park at Catalkoy 15 minutes drive away. The new marina should be finished in 18 months, 5 minutes drive away. Golf course 8 minutes drive away. I do think that Medview have some apartments in Kyrenia itself which might be better but I don't know if there are any left. The butlers wife

Hi Paul, I am an optimist I know but I have read that it should only take 18 months to complete once started. It is going to start on Tuesday isn't it?????? Someone has to believe fairy tales. The butlers wife

in my view, the nearer to kyrenia you are the better for choices and things to do,Catalkoy is fairly near, dont wish to upset anybody over at essentepe but we drove through the place twice in the evenings when dark, lots and lots of properties and no lights on,lots of empty houses,i'm sure they will all be full in coming years though,if you like views and scenery its lovely there,if you like to be close to lots of bars and different restaurants get yourself near to kyrenia.
