Hi Scoobydoo , it worked for me , try not posting a picture , i have never seen a picture attached to any event advertised , so perhaps it does'nt accept pictures even though it says it does . give it a go

=> What is the filename of the picture you try to upload? It should be filename.jpg or filename.jpeg or filename.gif or filename.png .

If - for some reason - you don't want to write down the filename here: email me hansdoeleman@allcrusades.com and I'll help you upload the picture, poster or any graphic you choose. (I'll be back in the afternoon).

As I said in msg 7, i have posted the event for the 2nd sept but also want to post it for the 3rd sept and would be great if I can get the poster attached somewhere!!

Thanks for your help

=> ... and I'll be out tonight to watch the match "the Netherlands - England" So I'll read your email tomorrow morning and then help you. Don't despair...

P.S. Just to live up to my reputation - here follows a free lesson: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .tif or .tiff and dozens more are called extensions (for graphical formats)... So it is: filename.extension Forget it... CU virtually tomorrow!

Save your poster as a .jpg file and then upload it as a picture. It does work example http://www.cyprus44.com/events/477.asp

Good morning, scoobydoo! I received your scanned poster and did some things to make it ready for the net. When you click this URL http://tinyurl.com/n7hw3b you'll see the result.

I've sent you email with your poster (cut from the original scan - which was far too large! - and is now 72 dpi, 75% screen quality, 520*762 pixels) attached. I suggest you try again to upload it in Events. This facility of cyprus44 does work!

If you still can't do it, let me know and I'll write down 1-2-3 etc how you have to do it.

Good luck!

=> AndyP, I uploaded a wrong link in msg 13. I already agreed with you (see msg 11) that uploading pics in cyprus44 "Events" works fine.

DC,

Many thanks for your help, I had no idea the picture was too big. Anyway, I have tried again with the resized picture you did for me and it went, I am now just waiting for it to appear on the events listing.

Once again, thank you.
