Hello all, Just returned from a great holiday on the complex during which we were adopted by 2 beautiful kittens, one a grey, the other a tabby with dark markings around her eyes. We fed them a little every day assuming they belonged to a Turkish family who lived opposite. We were in the apartment just next to the bistro. We were told on our last day that the family could no longer care for them as the lady of the house was allergic to cats. We had not time to speak to John, the Irish maintenance manager, as I know he had said he would look out for new owners who live permanently on the complex.Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Sorry to be a sad cat lady but I cant help worrying about what will happen to them , especially when most people are home from holiday. Any ideas? Would anyone mind passing on a message to John? I would have taken them to the animal centre if we had time before leaving if need be.

thats part of the problem here. Kind tourists feeding ferals and then going home!! cats are quite independant and can hunt food so don't feel too bad. I know that they would love a home with regular food and a warm lap to sit on, but its the dogs that really suffer here.

By the way they weren't feral - they had been used to being fed regularly according to our info.

sorry to take so long to get photos up - major internet problems. here are the photos of the 2 kittens. They were always playing around in the gardens to the rear of the bistro each evening after sunset. Anyone seen them or know if they are ok? I am sending the photos to info@cyprus44.com, not sure if I can put them into this box!

Thanks Keith for putting the pictures on. They are adorable! Does anyone living near the bistro know how they are? Good luck with finding them a new home.
