Does anyone know where I can buy some sturdy brass-handled bbq skewers (kebab shop style) - most of the skewers I've seen in the shops are pretty flimsy and tend to go rusty.

Get him to take you to Guzelyurt,and ask for SAATCHI's shop(it means "watch repairer",he used to)There you will find all sorts.He is on high street,selling all sorts of pots and puns as well.

Most shops near the big mosque in Nicosia, Turkish side, very cheap.
