Old Famagusta is lovely, new part is a typical city. Personally I prefer Iskele and only 15 / 20 mins from Famagusta but also that means 20 mins nearer the Karpas. Depends what you are buying for. Holidays or all year round rental. Famagusta has a university and a new hospital which as I understand are very good rental prospects, but for holiday lets the Iskele area is best, although plenty of locals will rent and work in the city if the price is right. Who is the builder in Iskele? And what is the swap property in Famagusta?

As Chris says, Noyanlar have a good reputation. I think the one opposite the burger bar is Borganvillia (Sorry about the spelling) Court which is not Noyanlar. Noyanlar are doing alot of building around Iskele and Bogaz and have only heard good things about them. Iskele is better for holidays as its nore central for visiting beaches up on the Karpas, cities such as Famagusta and is only 75 mins from Kyrinia, aswell as being good for local sites such as Salamis ruins, Kantara and again old Famagusta. Good luck.

No, Beno12 I think you are right and I'm wrong. I went of google earth last night and saw that they are building a new site where you said. Quite a few Noyanler sites on there which I was suprised at. I quite agree that this is the best side of the island ;-)
