How much water do you use a week

Hi all,



I am trying to find out what the average amount of water a person uses in a week. When I am in Cyprus I use water sparingly but I still shower twice a day, have the washing machine on and the dish washer, several times a week. My husband and I use less than 2 tons of water a week, is this normal or is this below average? We have a garden but I try and use recycled water for this and only have plants that need watering once or twice a week

Hi thats about right, i live on my own in an apartment and i use 1.25 cu meters a week on average.

Hi, Two people in our villa....2 - 2.5 tons a week by tanker gives minimum 2 showers a day each and unlimited use of washing machine / toilet flushes, kitchen taps etc etc. Drinking water additional

PS also recycle pool backwash water to garden after 3 day sun-chlorine burn off.

We are very careful with water, I think the max. we have used is 5 tonn per MONTH

Our water bill (for 2) is about 5tl a month on a normal month! Thats Alsancak - so far no standing charge and we get it once a week at the moment.

Haven't had any of the damn stuff from Lapta belediye for forty days and counting.



Still have to pay for it though!

Thank you all so much for your replies, they are all about the same as what we use. I suspect that somewhere on our development we have leaking pipes, so now the mammoth task is to find them.
