Nil, its a lovely post, but i reccomended a few of my friends to your company who purchased chlorine from you, but the Chlorine was rubbish - And to add insult to injury, none of them were happy about your atitude when they complained..... As a result neither myself nor my friends will be using Offsetsan again... Perhaps you should brush up (no pun intended) on your customer service skills.....

Hi NN, One might almost title this thread: "Where can I buy the cheapest pool chemicals"? Please do not take this as a criticism of yourself but I have often said that in the quest for "the cheapest swimming pool chemicals" we often find that we haven't ended up with "good value for money". There are other good value for money ways to sanitise a pool, Zerochlor being one and our favourite, Aligator, another. Chlorine may no longer be the most cost-effective way.

mess 7 - Geejay, i bought chlorine from Offsetsan and had no problems - 3 of my friends subsequently bought chlorine from them on my reccomendation..... But the pools quickly started going green - One visited Vaughan and he recconed that the chlorine had "lost it's zest".... It was suspected that it had not been stored properly prior to purchase. When Offsetsan was contacted each was told that they'd never had this problem before and weren't really interested..... We've no gone the the place next to "Flippers" and had no problems.... As far as using Offsetsan again - No thanks......

Dear All, First of all thank you very much for your complaints and supportings. We are a wholesaler, and its our duty to supply the most qualified products with lowest prices. We used to get the product from China, and now we find a good company in Europe, with cheper prices. So, why shouldn't we change our supplier.? We always, test our product in the origin country, and we also use the intermediate surveyors to check them before shipment. Anyways, you all read our customers' posts, and they are happy with our product. Also, be sure that we have been selling this product since 2000, and we sell 10s of container-full chlorine. So, if we cannot store them properly, we should throw all of them away, not just 3 or 4. cont'd....

cont'd... Therefore, please instead of suspecting our product storage, also think about your storage conditions. And you are all welcome to see how we store our products. I am respecting of using or not using our products, but please be more constructive while you criticize. Finally, we are a trading company, who is next to our customers everytime. And because we have some delays of arriving our products which are totally out of our control, we are excusing from our customers by selling the products with the same price of “costs”. That’s the reason of selling at this price. What I am expecting is a more constructive criticism, but be sure that we remain here to serve you all. Rgds, NiL

mess 12 / 13 - its a pitty you didn't have thaqt attitude when my THREE friends who i reccomended to you complained.... Sorry Nils but all three of them were far from happy with your atitude - you apparently knew there was a problem... An astute business would have given them ALL of their money back...... You didn't.... That's your choice.....

mess 12 Dear Nil First of all we are all intelengent people and we all know that there is no other country in the world that produces chlorine. How can you say that your product is not chinese. The packing in the drums were disintigrated when they arrived to us and the color of the chlorine had gone yellow, So how can you blame us for not storring it propperly. Got a friend that has still got 40 drums of your old stock, can he come to change them with your new stock ?

PoolDoctor......Why do you say that chlorine is only produced in China ? This is just not true. There is a thriving European chlorine producing industry. This chemical is produced worldwide.

NN Message 19. Perhaps the reason Nils hasn't responded is because message 17 was posted today, Saturday at 17:17. They only work Monday to Friday! You only gave her 24 minutes since you replied!!! Very funny I expect you to respond "POSITIVELY" to this response within 23 minutes, no longer!

As I said in my first first message, I can rarely check the site, since I have other things to do, so if you need an urgent reply you can mail us... And sorry but I have to tell that I was surprised of your comments. (NIL) We remain, regards. |

We went back to UK for 2 months in Summer & the pool wasn't looking it's best ( we had started to struggle with it to be honest). Anyway, not to worry cos we were having a pool guy in whilst we went back & new it would be crystal when we came back & sure enough it was. I have started to look after it myself now we are back & it's lost its sparkle so I gave it a double dose of chlorine yesterday to give it a little shock & having just tested it a day later it is showing no hardly any chlorine at all. I bought a big tub of the Offsetsan chlorine in may & this is when my problems started so I am convinced that this chlorine is no good & low & behold I find this thread. I'll add this to my ever growing list of rip offs
