Lost dog Alsancak area!

Hi anybody seen Jack our 'street' dog who was on holiday in Alsancak (near garage after left fork) whilst we had grandchildren over. He is very tall hunting type dog, blonde & white very friendly & gentle - can anyone help me post photo please.

He may be on his way back to Bellapais Road, Ozankoy he was previously re-homed near little Tempo in the town, the lady turned him out after a few weeks & he found his way back to us.

Unfortunately he shed his name tag before he went missing on Sunday evening.

It does make me wonder if these former street dogs ever make good pets because despite receiving lots of love, food, company they do seem to like running away!

Increase your chances of finding him by calling in at the KAR behind Watermill Hotel and doing a Lost report. Also the police have reports of lost dogs too. Good luck.

Hmmm... Where about in Alsancak??? We saw a dog that looked suspiciously like Jack in Alsancak today... We live up in the villlas opposite Escape Beach... He appeared in our garden but unfortunately, our dog barked and chased him off... Will keep our eyes peeled for him now... Am soo sorry - really hope he shows up - we even said how lovely looking he was...! Good luck Connie! XXX

according to msg 1, it was not far from the 'Golden Lady' but of course that was nearly 3 weeks ago...

Thanks for the info & a huge thank you to Keith for enabling me to get onto the board have not been able to access since last Thursday morning.

Jack has not been seen since running away from his holiday home which was just past the garage on the main road up into Alsancak.

It would not suprise me if he was making his way back towards Kyrenia as he was rehomed once near little Tempo (near Pertev the Vet) & made his way back to us near Altinkaya Hotel am not sure whether the lady kicked him out after a week or so or whether he ran away from her.

Please if anyone does see him can you get hold of him, he is very gentle & friendly, & give me a ring on 0533 8673286.

=> Then why mention it? If it's about animals: why don't we all try to write "clean" posts? What's the use of speculations, accusations and what have you?
