| a friend has fallen in love with a street dog and wants to take him back to the uk, she leaves in 6 days.
Can anyone shed some light on to how she can take it back, and what paperwork will be necessary.
Await eagerly for any advice and help. thank you |

| I admire her, but she is in for a very, very expensive ride!! 6 mths quarantine in the UK, and she will have to get a move on to get all the papers ready!! She should go to see her local vet asap. There have been numerous threads on this, you could use the search facility at the top of the page.

| 6 days isn't long enough - main stumbling block - needs rabies jab then 2 weeks later needs a blood sample analised to confirm the rabies jab has worked.....
Would need 4-6 weeks i guess.... |

| What lovely news, and good for your friend. As long as she gets the ball rolling and gets the first rabies jab etc done, would you or someone else be able to manage the other things that she needs to do on her behalf? That way she can get back to UK and arrange the kennels etc, it is fairly expensive, but when you fall in love what can you do??

| getting in touch with the Kar Rescue buzzylizzy.
But six days doesnt give very much time to sortthings out byt do try and get in touch with them they may come up with something for your friend.
